How to unblock sites
Let's say you want to keep up with your friends on Facebook. What do you normally do?
1. Open a web browser (IE, Firefox, or Google Chrome).
2. Type "www.facebook.com" in the browser address bar, then press "Enter".
Everything is fine at home, but at school or workplace, you might see a big bold warning message as follows:
Web Site Blocked! Access was restricted for the requested Web Site!
It's pretty scary, right? What happened? The site you requested was blocked by your school or employer because they want you to spend time on study or work rather than visiting so called Inappropriate web sites.
How to bypass the network filters and unblock sites? Very simple, you just need to add one more step to your normal operation:
1. Open your web browser.
2. Type the address of a free ssl proxy (e.g. 2unblocksites.com or twolulu.com) and press "Enter".
3. Type "www.facebook.com" in the Site URL bar of the ssl proxy, then click "Unblock" button.
Amazing, ah? I don't want to confuse you with all kinds of proxy jargons. All you need to know is this:
An ssl proxy is a middleman between you and the websites you want to visit.
Your network administrator may block sites like Facebook, Myspace, or Youtube, but you can first visit a free ssl proxy site (like 2unblocksites.com or twolulu.com), then to unblock sites you want to visit.
